Meet the Team – Tammy Calhoun

Position: Marketing Communications Specialist (Digital)

Years at acpo: 1 year

Responsibilities: I’m responsible for designing and implementing the digital marketing. This includes the website as well as acpo social media channels and email marketing.

What you love about your job? I love being creative and designing engaging marketing pieces that showcase what acpo has to offer. I like that I am able to collaborate with many different departments within the company to promote our message.

What drew you to acpo originally? Recommendation by a friend.

What you do for fun? I run road races, from 5k’s to full marathons. I’m currently training for the Chicago Marathon in October. I am too slow of a runner to time qualify so I decided to run and fund raise for Salute Inc, which is a veteran’s support organization. I also love to kayak and attend concerts.

What is your personal philosophy? Life moves pretty fast. If you don’t stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it. – Ferris Bueller

Position: Senior Buyer

Years at acpo: 6 ½ years

Responsibilities: I mainly do all of the purchasing of raw materials for all of our facilities.

What you love about your job? The people, close to home. I never have to do the same thing day after day. There are always new challenges every day.

What drew you to acpo originally? Close to home, located in my hometown

What you do for fun? Love being in the sun, camping, shopping

What is your personal philosophy? I strongly believe that “Everything happens for a reason”

Position: Shipping & Receiving

Years at acpo: 2

Responsibilities: Gather rolls for customer orders, scan into system, wrap pallets, and load trucks.

What you love about your job? I love the environment this company has created. Everyone helps everyone in need.

What drew you to acpo originally? A couple of friends of mine worked at acpo and told me about it. I think it is amazing as to what we do here.

What do you do for fun? Outside of work, I am a firefighter. I love to help others in need and to save lives. I also work on cars and love to shoot guns.

What is your personal philosophy? No matter how tough an obstacle or challenge is, when you think about giving up, just stop, take a deep breath, and re-analyze the situation.

Meet the Team – Taryn Perry

Position: Customer Service Representative

Years at acpo: 1 1/2

Responsibilities: Entering in customer orders accurately and in a timely manner, taking calls from customers and answering their questions to the best of my ability.

What you love about your job? Being around my coworkers every day. I couldn’t pick a better team to be a part of!

What drew you to acpo originally? I had been working at a National Bank and was looking for a job change that was still customer service oriented and a friend referred me to acpo.

What you do for fun? Most of my time is spent with my 5 year old son, he keeps me pretty busy!

What is your personal philosophy? Laughter is the best medicine!

Meet the Team – Jordan Cantrell

Position: Inventory Control Specialist

Years at acpo: 6 in October

Responsibilities: I handle any inventory related issues at all of the facilities

What you love about your job? I enjoy that every day I have a new puzzle that needs to be solved and no day is the same. I like that I don’t work in a silo—I interact with almost every department in some capacity. And the people I work with are awesome!

What drew you to acpo originally? I had completed a college internship and the acpo job description was identical to what I had done.

What you do for fun? Music: I listen to my iPod almost all day long, I play trumpet in a jazz band when I can, and I collect vinyl albums. I also like to camp and bicycle when the weather is nice.

What is your personal philosophy? I like to laugh and I like to make other people laugh
