410HS Clear Heat Sealable Polypropylene

This one side heat sealable, adhesive coated film is designed specially for flexible packaging applications.Offering excellent oil and chemical resistance, product 410HS is ideal for use as a barrier layer within the packaging or as an overlaminate to protect print and graphics. Typical end use applications include: bakery, pet food and snack pouches. HFFS and VFFS machine capable.  Additionally, the film complies with FDA regulations for direct food contact (file 21 CFR 177.1520) and the adhesive is compositionally compliant for indirect and incidental contact (file 21 CFR 175.105).

Features and Applications
  • Excellent acid, chemical, oil and scuff resistance.
  • One side heat sealable.
  • HFFS and VFFS machine capable.
  • Seal strength 470 grams/in (ASTM F88: 20psi, 239°F, 0.5 sec; probe width 1 in; peeling speed 12 in/min)
  • Minimum seal temperature 221°F. Tested in laboratory conditions. Actual temperature dependent on machine type, type of crimpers, machine speed and in some case product being packaged. We do not provide a specific temperature to set equipment.
  • Meets requirements for direct face, incidental and indirect edge or seam contact as set forth in FDA files: 21 CFR 175.105 and 21 CFR 177.1520.

  • Rolls must be transported and stored on protected surfaces.
